  • Approximately 44% of emergency department visits involve less urgent issues that could often be treated outside the emergency room.

  • Over the next 25 years, the population aged 70+ is projected to grow by approximately 52%. The need for reliable access to primary care, home care, and community supports will increase rapidly.
